The history of the Reformed Church has its own personalities in each country. This article focus on the determinant of the Church boards evolution in the Kingdom of Hungary in the seventeenth century. We follow the evolution of each board at the beginning of the century, as well as the influence of Juraj Drugeth’s conversion. The Drugets were one of the most important territorial lords and executed the Counter-reformation throughout the seventeenth century. The Counter-reformation has left its own print step on the boards. A number of them perished or had to find strong protectors. We focus explicitly on the Kingdom of Hungary in this article, and follow beyond fundamental information as the work of bishops or act of the Jesuits, as well as the system of counter-reformed chapels, as well as the language identity of the believers. The seventeenth century in particular is the time of first contact of the counter-reformed ones with the Jesuits in this region. The local mission was in touch with the counter-reformed ones continuously, whereby it is possible to follow the interconfessional contacts between Catholicism and Calvinism. We can observe the entire process from the point of view of the Reformed Church which built an unique view in the difficulties, which the local church had to deal with on a daily basis.
